The driver of this vehicle was taken to the hospital and was also the subject of an operating while under the influence investigation following a Thursday afternoon crash.The crash at 190th Street east of Vincent Avenue was reported at 1:45 p.m. Webster County sheriff’s deputies reported that witnesses saw the Chevrolet Equinox speeding and swerving as it traveled eastbound on 190th Street. It then went into the ditch on the south side of the road and rolled at least three times, ending up on its driver’s side. The driver was taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center. Iowa State Patrol troopers were investigating if the driver was drunk at the time of the crash. Vincent firefighters and an ambulance from the Fort Dodge Fire Department also responded.
