Jury finds Duncombe man guilty of sexually related offenses

Patterson to be sentenced in November

A Webster County jury found a Duncombe man guilty of multiple sexually related offenses last week.

According to court documents, Brandon Patterson, 44, was found guilty of seven counts of third-degree sexual abuse following a four-day trial in Webster County District Court.

"I'd like to thank law enforcement for working diligently on this case," said Webster County Assistant County Attorney Bailey Cavanaugh. "I'm thankful the jury returned a guilty verdict, which ensured justice for the victim in this case."

The case was investigated by the Webster County Sheriff's Office and the Webster County Attorney's Office.

Patterson will be sentenced on Nov. 2 in Webster County District Court.
