DAYTON -- The Dayton Championship Rodeo will be held TODAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY and MONDAY in the Dayton Rodeo Arena, 223 S. Main St., Dayton. Tickets are $25 for ages 12 and up, $12 for ages 6-11, and free for ages 5 and under. Gates open at 5 p.m. today. The rodeo begins at 7 p.m. Wear red to show support of military currently serving deployment. Tonight, Saturday and Sunday, the rodeos begin at 7 p.m. and there will be a fireworks show after the rodeo, as well as a rodeo dance at Shed '37. Citywide garage sales and vendors in the park will be held all weekend. The Labor Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, beginning at Oak Park, traveling through downtown and ending by Grandview Health Care Center. On Monday, the rodeo begins at 1:30 p.m.
BANCROFT -- Bancroft Historical Museum will hold a Cemetery Walk at 6 p.m. SUNDAY at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Bancroft. There will be a signing of Tommy Murray's book "Fathers, Sons and the Holy Ghosts of Baseball" at 4 p.m. before the walk at the museum.

FORT DODGE -- The Fort Museum, 1 Museum Road, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY, and noon to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and veterans with ID, $4 for children ages 5-17 and free for children ages 4 and younger.
FORT DODGE -- Fort Dodge Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.
