WEBSTER CITY -- 2026 Whiskers & Wine Comedy Night will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. SATURDAY at Briggs Woods Conference Center, 2501 Briggs Woods Trail, Webster City. The Dueling Pianos of Andy Anderson and Mike Leeds will perform. Tickets are $50 for a single ticket and $350 for a table of 8. There will be an in-person silent auction. The event is being held by Hamilton County Animal AdvoCATes and The Cat Hut.
HUMBOLDT -- Humboldt Farmers Market will be held from 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at Parley Finch Plaza in downtown Humboldt. There will be kids crafts with Building Families and Humota Theater.

FORT DODGE -- Sonshine Singers will present "Faith, Music & Hope" from 5 to 6:30 p.m. SUNDAY at First Covenant Church, 201 Ave. H. The event is a benefit for Julie Davis.
FORT DODGE -- Hawkeye Community Theatre will hold auditions for the December show, "Alice's Christmas in Wonderland," at 5:30 p.m. on SUNDAY at the theater, 521 N. 12th St. Kids in kindergarten through high school are welcome. Auditions will also be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rehearsals will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The show will run Dec. 2-5.
FORT DODGE -- The YWCA third annual fun Race for Recovery 5k beginning with registration at 8:30 a.m. SATURDAY will be held at Rosedale Rapids/Schmoker Trail, 1111 N. 32nd St. All proceeds go to the women and children at the YWCA.
FORT DODGE -- The 515 Big Band will perform at 7 p.m. TODAY in the Historic Phillips Auditorium, 1015 Fifth Ave. N. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $15, but students will be admitted free.
