FORT DODGE -- Event by Lotus Community Project Inc. and The Fort Museum and Frontier Village will host the Lotus Soiree from 5 to 11 p.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Museum, 1 Museum Road. This semi-formal event will be held in the Opera House. There will be a silent auction, freewill donation meal, 50/50 raffle and live music. Tickets are $40 per person and $75 per couple. This includes one drink ticket per person. Doors open at 5 p.m., social hour is till 6 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m., dance at 7 p.m., auction/raffle at 9 p.m.
FORT DODGE -- The Fort Museum, 1 Museum Road, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY, and noon to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and veterans with ID, $4 for children ages 5-17 and free for children ages 4 and younger.
FORT DODGE -- Fort Dodge Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.
FORT DODGE -- Matt Cosgrove River's Edge Discovery Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at 20 N. First St. Free admission.
