FORT DODGE -- Webster County Conservation will hold Coffee and Conservation at 10 a.m. SATURDAY at the Matt Cosgrove River's Edge Discovery Center, 20 N. First St. Webster County Conservation Director Matt Cosgrove will speak on Iowa's Natural Resource and Outdoor Recreation Trust Fund -- Securing the Promise. Coffee and light snacks will be provided.
FORT DODGE -- Fort Dodge Flight Support is hosting a fundraiser for the Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight from 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY in the Fort Dodge Flight Support building south of the parking lot at the Fort Dodge Regional Airport. Enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes from Chris Cakes for $10 per plate. Experience the sky with a flight for $25 per person.

LEHIGH -- Lehigh United Methodist Church will hold its Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY at the church, 386 Spencer Hill St., Lehigh. The menu includes pulled pork sandwich or hot dogs, salad, dessert and drink for a freewill offering. Dine in or carry out. There will also be ice cream.
ALGONA -- Algona Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a centennial event at 11 a.m. SUNDAY in the Outdoor Learning Area at Water's Edge Nature Center at Smith Lake, 1010 250th St., Algona. Park at the Nature Center and follow the walking trail to the south. A bur oak tree will be commemorated and a historical marker placed in honor of the United States 250th anniversary.
