FORT DODGE -- Downtown Country Jam will be held from 6 to 10:45 pm. SATURDAY at Central Avenue and Ninth Street. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Travis Tritt is the headliner. Blake Jack & South 35 with special guest Stadium Dr. will perform. Tickets are $55 at Hy-Vee, Availa Bank, First Interstate Bank, GreenState Credit Union and Peoples Credit Union. Children age 12 and younger are admitted free if they are accompanied by an adult. All tickets are general admission, festival style seating. Bring your own chair.
FORT DODGE -- The Fort Museum, 1 Museum Road, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY, and noon to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and veterans with ID, $4 for children ages 5-17 and free for children ages 4 and younger.
FORT DODGE -- Fort Dodge Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.
FORT DODGE -- Matt Cosgrove River's Edge Discovery Center, 20 N. First St., is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY. Free admission.
FORT DODGE -- Swaddling Clothes distribution will be held from 10 a.m. to noon SATURDAY with distribution of diapers and baby wipes to families at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1436 21st Ave. N.
