FORT DODGE -- Fort Dodge Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.
FORT DODGE -- The Fort Museum, 1 Museum Road, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY, and noon to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and veterans with ID, $4 for children ages 5-17 and free for children ages 4 and younger.
FORT DODGE -- Coffee and Conservation will be held at 10 a.m. SATURDAY at Matt Cosgrove River's Edge Discovery Center, 20 N. First St. Come learn what barns can tell us, ways to identify their features and how the Iowa Barn Foundation helps to preserve these amazing icons for our future. Hear about 107 barns across Iowa open for touring in September. Presented by Deann Haden, Iowa Barn Foundation Board of Directors/ Calhoun & Webster County Representative. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.
FORT DODGE -- Kids Fest will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. SATURDAY at ChildCare Discovery Center, 1405 N. 32nd St. There will be games and activities that are free for all families. There will be a petting zoo, foam party, bouncy houses, dunk tank and more. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
FORT DODGE -- Full Throttle for Lotus: Revving Up Support for Women and Children will begin at 11 a.m. SATURDAY at Rides Bar and Grill in Fort Dodge. Stops include Stumpy's Bar and Grill in Duncombe, Rails in Eagle Grove, Nut's Landing in Rutland, The Junkyard Bar & Grill in Barnum and ending at the Opera House at The Fort Museum and Frontier Village with a darts tournament from 6 to 9 p.m. The cost is $20 per rider or $35 per couple. The darts tournament is $20. There will be a silent auction from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fort Museum. Meal will be served at 6 p.m.
FORT DODGE -- Lunch on Central will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. TODAY in the alley in the 700 block of Central Avenue between The Messenger and the Webster County Courthouse. The cost is $8. The menu will be beef brisket, pasta salad, potato chips and bottled water. Desserts will be offered for purchase by Fort Dodge Noon Rotary.
