Crash sends one to hospital

Fort Dodge Fire Department paramedics check on the driver of a Subaru Outlander that collided with the tan Toyota Camry in the background Tuesday afternoon at Sixth Avenue North and 18th Street. Following the collision, the Toyota jumped the curb, went into the yard of a home on South 18th Street and hit a tree. The Subaru then hit a parked Ford F250 pickup on South 18th Street. The driver of the Toyota was taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center. The crash happened just before 2 p.m. It remained under investigation by Fort Dodge police.
