FONDA — The father/daughter acoustic duo of Josh and Rowyn Nielsen will perform at 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Fonda Arts Center. Free admission.
OTHO — The 23rd annual Otho Fireman’s Ball will be held at 5 p.m. SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169. The meal will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. A live auction will begin at 6 p.m. DJ Duane Murley will perform until midnight. Event includes a gun raffle, kids games, 50/50, door prizes and grocery raffle.
CLARION — The third annual Bosch’s Hot Rod and Custom Car Show will begin at 10:30 a.m. to noon registration on SATURDAY, noon to 3 p.m. car show, 3 p.m. trophies awarded, at 223 N. Main St. Rain date is Sunday. There will be 12 classes and trophies, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, goodie bags for first 100 entrants, two gun raffles, food trucks and local restaurants.
WEBSTER CITY — The Jane Young House Museum, 629 Elm St. in Webster City, will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. SATURDAY.
WEBSTER CITY — The Webster City Community Theatre will be reading “Birthday Club” at 3 p.m. SUNDAY. The reading will be held at the WCCT Performing Arts Center at 1001 Willson Ave.
WEBSTER CITY — The American Legion Post 191 will hold its monthly dinner TODAY. Serving begins at 4 p.m. and will be available until 6 p.m. or until supply is exhausted. Scalloped potatoes and ham will be served at the Legion building, located at 726 Second St. The cost of the meal is a freewill offering which is used to help support the cemetery flag project and other Legion projects.

FORT DODGE — Bingo at the Winery will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY at Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave. Benefits The Lord’s Cupboard food pantry. FORT DODGE — The Full Swing Forward 5K will be held beginning at 8 a.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Country Club, 370 Country Club Drive. The kids 1K (ages 7-12, $15) and all ages 1K walk ($15) begin at 9 a.m. The adult 5K (ages 13 and above, $40) begins at 9:30 a.m. Event raises money for the Fort Dodge Junior Golf Academy and Children’s Cancer Connection.
FORT DODGE — The Northwest Iowa Thin Blue Line Gala will be held beginning at 5 p.m. SATURDAY at The Laramar, 710 First Ave. N. Includes dinner, presentation, silent auction and music by Spencer Suchan. Tickets are $50 for general admission, or $35 for current or retired law enforcement officers. Formal attire requested. Proceeds go to Iowa COPS (Concerns of Police Survivors).
FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Senior High will present “The Addams Family” musical at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 p.m. SATURDAY in the Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 N. 32nd St. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students.
