Community Clean Up Day in Fort Dodge

The Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance organized a Community Clean Up Day Wednesday. Volunteers met in the Walmart parking lot before being assigned to different cleanup zones.

By the end of the afternoon, more than 93 bags of trash had been collected. The effort covered about 55 acres. Green State Credit Union and Koch Fertilizer ­ Fort Dodge were the sponsors of the cleanup. A total of 64 teams registered for the event.
