Four students from Fort Dodge Senior High School, from left, Karly Reynolds, Karlee Hamilton, Lily Kliegl and Izzam Mejia, demonstrated their medical expertise at the Iowa HOSA State Leadership Conference held Sunday and Monday in Des Moines. The team earned a third-place finish in the Anatomage Tournament out of 30 competing teams from across the state. This competition challenged students on their speed and accuracy in virtual dissection and clinical anatomy. The students also engaged in professional development and community service. Mejia, Kliegl, Reynolds, and Hamilton participated in a service project benefiting the Ronald McDonald House, attended various health care-focused workshops, and networked with peers from across the state who share an interest in medical careers.
