Iowa Central offers one application, multiple scholarships
Deadline is nearing
Iowa Central Community College is reminding current and prospective students that the deadline to apply for 2026-27 Foundation Scholarships is Feb. 27.
With one single application, students can be considered for hundreds of scholarship opportunities totaling thousands of dollars in financial aid.
The Iowa Central Community College Foundation oversees nearly 300 scholarships made possible by donations from local businesses, organizations, and individuals.
“We continually add more scholarships available to students thanks to the generosity of many. We are grateful to our donors who make these scholarships possible,” said Mary Ludwig, executive director of development and alumni affairs.
These awards are designed to reduce financial barriers and help students focus on completing their degrees with minimal debt.
“Our goal is to help students complete their degree or certification in the shortest time possible, with the least amount of student debt, so they can have a better life,” said Dr. Jesse Ulrich, president of Iowa Central Community College.
Application details:
∫ One-and-Done Process: Students only need to complete one online application to be matched with all eligible scholarships.
∫ Diverse Eligibility: Awards are available based on academic achievement, financial need, program of study (including health sciences, agriculture, industrial tech, and arts), and personal achievement.
∫ Broad Availability: Scholarships are open to new, returning, traditional, and non-traditional students.
The application must be completed in one sitting, as the system does not allow users to save and return later. Applicants are encouraged to prepare details about their community involvement, work experience, and financial circumstances beforehand.
