FORT DODGE — The Iowa Central Community College Band will perform a Valentine concert at 7 p.m. TODAY in the Harcourt Community Center under the direction of Director Paul Bloomquist. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. RSVP to City Hall for head count at 515-354-5341. Cake, ice cream, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages will be served for a freewill donation.

FORT DODGE — There will be a Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball for ages 18 and up from 7 to 11 p.m. SATURDAY at the Opera House at the Fort Museum and Frontier Village, 1 Museum Road. Doors open at 7 p.m. with VIP dinner service beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets for the dance only are $10 each. VIP tickets are $30 each; includes one drink, meal and Mardi Gras mask.

FORT DODGE — The Karl L. King Municipal Band will perform at 3:30 p.m. SUNDAY in the Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 N. 32nd St. Admission is free.
