Three win FDCSD board seats unopposed
Two incumbents and one newcomer were unopposed for seats on the Fort Dodge Community School District Board of Education Tuesday.
Incumbent Molly Nelson won 2,939 votes.
Incumbent Zach Mason won 2,720 votes.
Newcomer Dan Scott won 2,517 votes.
Nelson was appointed to the board in March 2024 to replace Lisa Shimkat.
Mason was appointed in September 2024 to replace Stu Cochrane.
Scott won his first term on the board.
