DAYTON — The Dayton Lions Club is holding a Turkey Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the Dayton Community Center, Dayton. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children to age 12 and free for pre-schoolers. Tickets may be purchased from any Lions Club member or at Johnson & Sons, 29 S. Main, Dayton.

LAURENS — The Laurens United Methodist Women are holding its annual Holiday Event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at the Laurens United Methodist Church. Booths will feature homemade baked goods, frozen casseroles including ham balls, assortment of fancy nuts, a variety of gently used items and a cookie walk. A freewill offering lasagna lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., is holding an Adult DIY at 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the library. Crafters of all skill levels are invited to make a chunky yarn pumpkin to take home. All materials will be provided. FORT DODGE — The 515 Big Band will host a Jazz Concert at 7 p.m. TODAY at the Historic Phillips Auditorium, 1015 Fifth Ave. N. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $15. Students are admitted free. Drinks will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Fireman’s Ball is 8 p.m. SATURDAY at the Laramar Ballroom, 710 First Ave. N. Doors open at 7 p.m. The Pork Tornadoes will perform. Tickets are $20 per person with table options for $320. There will be food trucks near the Laramar throughout the evening.

FORT DODGE — Christmas Market at the Fort Museum Trading Post, 1 Museum Road, is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. TODAY. The market will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday through Dec. 23.
