Fort Dodge firefighters were called to a structure fire in a building on the grounds of the former Corpus Christi Church just north of downtown at 7:43 a.m. Sunday. Firefighters were on the scene until almost noon, according to Capt. Steve Teske, who said when firefighters arrived it was “a pretty good working fire.” He said no one was injured, adding that the building is currently vacant. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
