MANSON — Pumpkin Fest is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. SATURDAY and 1 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY at Twin Lakes Bible Camp, 7718 Twin Lakes Road, Manson. A wristband is $7 and zipline rides are $5.

POCAHONTAS — PocaHAUNTus is from 7 to 10 p.m. SATURDAY at the Pocahontas Fire Station Shed, 300 N.W. Seventh St. Admission is $15 per person. All participants must sign a waiver. Children ages 12 and under must be with a parental guardian. Proceeds will benefit local non-profits and community projects, the fire department and the chamber.

MANSON — Our Savior United Methodist Church, 1130 11th St., Manson, is holding a Homemade Chicken and Noodles Dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. The chicken and noodles will be served with green beans, dinner roll and dessert bar for dine in or carryout. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 10 and under. There will also be a bake sale.

FORT DODGE — Community Orchard Apple Fest is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at the orchard, 2237 160th St. There will be live music from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and the petting zoo will be open on Sunday only. Farm combo tickets are $28, Back 40 admission only is $15, Corn Maze admission is $10, Pumpkin from The Pumpkin Patch is $8 and the Petting Zoo on Sunday is $2. FORT DODGE — Holy Trinity Parish Spaghetti Dinner is 4 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY at the Corpus Christi Center, 405 N. Eighth St. The dinner includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Carryouts will be available, beverage not included. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children ages 5 to 11 and free for children ages 4 and under. Accepting cash and checks.

FORT DODGE — Webster County Conservation is holding Ancient Technologies Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY at Matt Cosgrove River’s Edge Discovery Center, 20 N. First St. There will be demonstrations, hands-on activities and guest speakers. The event is free and open to the public.

FORT DODGE — The second annual Angel Ride to Save the Tatas Side-by-side Ride is SATURDAY at Rides Bar and Grill, 723 S. 31st St. Registration is 9 to 10:30 a.m. There will be a 50/50 raffle. The cost is $15 for drivers and $5 for passengers. The route is Rides Bar and Grill, Fort Dodge; Knuckleheads, Badger; Rails, Eagle Grove; American Tap, Webster City; and Stumpy’s, Duncombe.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Flight Support is holding its Fall Fly-In from 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Regional Airport, 1639 Nelson Ave. The event is open to the public. An all you can eat pancake breakfast with a drink is $10 per person, pilots-in command eat free. Plane rides will be $20 per person. Proceeds go to the Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight.

FORT DODGE — “A Haunting in the Village … What could possibly go wrong???” is 7 to 10 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY at the Fort Museum Frontier Village, 1 Museum Road. Tickets are $5 each, with a family maximum of $20. Children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

FORT DODGE — First Covenant Church, 201 Ave. H, is holding a Trunk or Treat event from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. No pets, please.

FORT DODGE — The Iowa Central Music and Theatre Department presents “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” at 7 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY in the Decker Auditorium Center for Performing Arts. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for students and free for ICCC students with ID.
