Maddie Poppe will perform at Iowa Central Community College on Wednesday.

Former Iowa Central Community College student Maddie Poppe, the “American Idol” champion from season 16, is returning to Fort Dodge for a concert at Decker Auditorium, 1 Triton Circle, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Some songs Poppe is known for include “Made You Miss Me,” “Going Going Gone,” and “Keep Movin’ On.”

Poppe is a native of Clarksville who attended Iowa Central in 2016. She was the “American Idol” winner in 2018.

Season 7 “American Idol” winner David Cook will be joining Poppe at Iowa Central for the concert. Cook will bring his signature rock edge and heartfelt songwriting. Cook is known for his hit songs “Light On” and “Come Back to Me.”
