Wolfe, Marsh promoted in FD Police Department
Two Fort Dodge police officers have been promoted.
Nate Wolfe was promoted from sergeant to lieutenant.
Keegun Marsh was promoted from detective to sergeant.
Both were introduced to the City Council Monday and received their new badges.
Wolfe is a native of Fort Dodge and graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High School. He has a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in Ames.
He joined the Police Department in August 2011 and was promoted to sergeant in August 2022. He has served in both patrol and investigations. He is a leader of the Special Emergency Response Team and a member of the National Tactical Officers Association. He has completed some leadership courses through the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Marsh is a graduate of Humboldt High School and Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids.
He is a veteran of the Marine Corps and a member of the Iowa Army National Guard.
Marsh joined the Police Department in February 2021, and is a detective specializing in narcotics investigations. He is a member of the Special Emergency Response Team, and serves as a drone operator and firearms instructor.
