Construction is progressing on the 32,000-square-foot building that will be the local home of FORCE America Inc. The building at First Avenue South and 42nd Street in the Decker Development Park will house sales, sales support, and inventory. Workers there will also assemble hydraulic equipment from components delivered from the company’s manufacturing sites. The building is expected to be complete in the spring of 2026.

This muddy area along First Avenue South near 42nd Street marks the spot where construction crews have started some preliminary work for what will become a last mile delivery station for online retailer Amazon. It will be a facility where packages are sorted and placed on trucks for delivery to customers. Company officials have not indicated when the facility will be completed. Amazon delivery stations employ an average of 170 people.
