Medicaid panel discussion set for tonight
A panel discussion on Medicaid, the federal and state health insurance program for the poor and disabled, will be held this evening in Fort Dodge.
A Community Conversation on Medicaid will begin at 7 p.m. in the Triton Cafe on the Iowa Central Community College campus.
Webster County Supervisor Niki Conrad will be the moderator.
Panelists will include Sara Carspecken, maternal health director for the Webster County Health Department; Kari Jones, chief nursing officer for UnityPoint Health — Fort Dodge; Kalleen Engels, chief operations and financial officer at Friendship Haven; Jeanette Moss, a substance abuse counselor at Unity Point Health Berryhill Center; Beth Plautz, president of Golden Day Adult Day; and Renae Kruckenberg, chief executive officer of the Community Health Center of Fort Dodge.
The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided.
