HUMBOLDT — Humboldt Farmer’s Market is 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY in the 600 block of Sumner Avenue, downtown Humboldt.

GOWRIE — Gowrie Downtown Market is 4 to 8 p.m. SATURDAY. There will be area vendors, food, Spencer Suchan Music, car show, a bounce house, kids’ activities and local shopping.

HOMER — The Homer Threshing Bee begins at 8 a.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY in Homer, eight miles north of Stratford on R21. The bee will feature Hart-Parr, Oliver and Cockshutt tractors and equipment, antique displays and demonstrations. Admission is $5 per person for both days.

HARCOURT — Faith Lutheran Church, Harcourt, is holding an Ice Cream Social and Bake Sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. Loose meat sandwiches, chips, baked beans, pie and homemade ice cream will be served for a freewill donation.

PALMER — The 41st annual Wiegert Prairie Fall Fest is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SUNDAY at the Wiegert Prairie Farmstead, 27061 615th St., Palmer. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted. Food will be available for purchase.

WEBSTER CITY — The Webster City Women’s Club will host a birthday party honoring Jane Young at the Jane Young House, 629 Elm St., Webster City, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. SATURDAY. Come tour the house and view the vintage clothing exhibit, “Let’s All Go To The Movies.” Take a quiz matching the quotes from the movies to the clothing displayed. Enjoy homemade ice cream and tour for a free will donation. The house is handicap accessible.

FORT DODGE — Family Fun Night is 4 to 8 p.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Museum grounds, 1 Museum Road. Admission for children ages 4 to 14 is $2 with a family maximum of $8, cash or credit card. Adults are free but donations of new or unused school supplies, personal items, clothing and food will be accepted. There will be old-fashioned games plus contests and prizes. There will be a raffle drawing at 6:25 p.m. A foam party starts at 6:30 p.m.; bring a towel. Food will be available for purchase. All proceeds will be split between the Fort Museum and local nonprofits.

FORT DODGE — Stella’s Coffee Bar’s third annual Summer Market begins at 10 a.m. SATURDAY at 160 S. 25th St. There will be local vendors with handcrafted goods, fresh culinary delights, unique art and essential services.

FORT DODGE — The annual MAGWED Steak Fry fundraiser is 4 to 8 p.m. SATURDAY at Salty Suz, 512 Central Ave. Cost is $25 for a ribeye steak, potato salad, sweet corn and bun. Takeouts will be available.
