A missing Fort Dodge teen has been found dead in a local pond.

According to the Fort Dodge Police Department, Oliver Brockbank, 16, was reported missing Sunday evening. A search ensued Sunday night and Monday.

Fort Dodge Police Chief Dennis Quinn said in a news release Tuesday that Brockbank’s body was recovered Monday in a body of water located southeast of 200th Street and Quail Avenue in Webster County.

Authorities have found no evidence of foul play leading to his death.

“Our hearts go out to Oliver’s family, friends and all of those affected by this tragic loss,” Quinn said. “We ask that the community keep them in their thoughts and respect their privacy as they grieve.”
