The Webster County Retired School Personnel Association annually gives two $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from Webster County high schools. Recipient Layla Jensen, a senior from Manson Northwest Webster High School, is pictured with Janet Carlon, president of the local association. Kaitlyn Folsom, a senior at Fort Dodge. Senior High School, is the second recipient. Both Jensen and Folsom are scheduled to attend Iowa Central Community College in the fall to begin their studies to become a teacher.
