A special event and walk to show support for mental health will be held Thursday on the Fort Dodge City Square.

The Make It OK Day event will begin at 11:30 a.m.

It will provide an opportunity for people to walk around the square, meet local mental health services providers and have lunch.

Participating agencies include the Community Health Center of Fort Dodge, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Webster County Health Department, Crisis Intervention Services, Community & Family Resources, Hazel Health, Department of Veterans Affairs, UnityPoint Health — Eyerly Ball, Fort Dodge Community School District, Catholic Charities, Iowa Works, UnityPoint Health — Berryhill Center, NAMI Central Iowa and Families First Counseling Services.

The Feedshack and Ardys Mae food trucks will be there.
