BADGER — Badger Lions Club Pancake Breakfast is 8 a.m. to noon SUNDAY at the Badger Fire Station. The menu is all the pancakes you can eat plus sausage eggs, orange juice, milk or coffee. Those attending are asked to bring used eyeglasses and hearing aids for Lions to recycle. Net profit will support community and Lions projects.
LEHIGH — The Lehigh Methodist Church Spring Supper and Bake Sale is 5 to 7 p.m. SATURDAY. The menu is Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn or beans, salad, pie, fresh baked roll and a drink. Tickets are $13 for adults, $7 for children ages 5 to 9 and free for children ages 4 and under. Carryouts available by calling 515-359-2329.
WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library, Webster City, is holding Family Summer Kick-off Carnival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. SATURDAY at the library. There will be a balloon artist, free lunch, face painting, games, caricatures, baby/toddler area and prizes.

FORT DODGE — Go Big, Go Dodgers fundraiser is 6 to 10 p.m. TODAY at the Laramar Ballroom, 710 First Ave. N. There will be live music featuring Jared Benson and and a live painting of the event by former Fort Dodge student Isaiah Deegan. There will also be live and silent auctions. Tickets are $40 each and school employees will receive a discount. Tickets may be purchased at www.fdcsfoundation.org. All proceeds benefit the Fort Dodge Community School District.
FORT DODGE — Main Street Fort Dodge is holding Mother’s Day Downtown starting at 10 a.m. SATURDAY. There will be a giveaway of $25 Downtown Dollars certificates to spent at participating businesses, kids free craft from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., create a Mother’s Day card at River Hops Brewing and snap a photo with mom.
FORT DODGE — Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St., is holding a Rummage Sale, Bake Sale, Lunch and Silent Auction from noon to 6 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the church. On Saturday beginning at 10 a.m., there will be a $2 bag sale. Lunch of sloppy joes, chips, homemade pie and a drink will be served in The Grace Cafe in the main level Fireside Room on both days. The silent auction will conclude at noon Saturday, top bidders need not be present to win the auction items. The sale is cash only. All proceeds go to education scholarships for companion congregation students in Matembwe, Tanzania, and Lutheran Disaster Response to help neighbors afflicted by natural disasters.
FORT DODGE — A Pink Party Benefit fundraiser for Pam Hotz is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY at Rides Bar and Grill, 723 S. 31st St. There will be a silent auction and food. Hotz was diagnosed in November with breast cancer. She has had two surgeries and will be starting chemotherapy and radiation soon. Money collected will go to Hotz for what she will need in the upcoming months and a portion will go to research for breast cancer.
FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Choral Society Concert, “The Beauty of the Earth,” is 4 p.m. SUNDAY at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St. Admission is by season membership or $12 at the door, students are admitted free.
FORT DODGE — The Friends of the Fort Dodge Public Library Spring Book Sale is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY and 9 to 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the library, 424 Central Ave. Today anything you can fit into a grocery-sized bag is $3 and on Saturday anything you can fit into a grocery-sized bag is $1.
