A man was injured in a shooting in Fort Dodge Thursday evening.

At 5:23 p.m., 911 dispatchers received a call of shots fired in the 400 block of North 10th Street. Upon arriving in that area police officers found an injured man in the front yard of a home in the 900 block of Fifth Avenue North. He was treated at the scene and transported to UnityPoint Health -Trinity Regional Medical Center.

The incident remains undr investigation.
