Parts of 15 streets will be repaved this year under a contract awarded by the Fort Dodge City Council Monday.

The council hired Fort Dodge Asphalt Co. to do the work at a cost of $1,752,228.20.

These are the streets to be repaved:

• Third Avenue South between Eighth and 10th streets.

• Fourth Avenue South between Eighth and 12th streets.

• Ninth Street between Second and Fourth avenues south.

• 10th Street between Second and Fourth avenues south.

• 12th Street between Third and Fourth avenues south.

• Sixth Avenue Northwest between Third and Fifth streets northwest.

• Third Street Northwest between Fifth and Ninth avenues northwest.

• Fifth Avenue Northwest between Second and Fourth streets northwest.

• Riverside Street Northwest between Sixth and Ninth avenues northwest.

• Seventh Avenue Northwest between Riverside and Third streets northwest.

• Ninth Avenue Northwest between Riverside and Third streets northwest.

• 24th Street between 16th and 18th avenues north.

• 25th Street between 16th and 19th avenues north.

• 18th Avenue North west of 25th Street.

• 26th Street between 16th and 17th avenues north.
