Farm Bureau leaders from across the state met with state lawmakers to discuss priority issues, including tax reform and ways to modernize the Grain Indemnity Fund. This farmer-funded safety net pays claims to farmers who have not received payment in the event of a grain elevator failure. Farm Bureau wants the fund to provide maximum protection to farmers affected by a grain elevator failure.
