HUMBOLDT — Humboldt Community Chorus presents “For the Love of Music” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY in the R. Wesley Carlson Auditorium at Humboldt High School, Humboldt. The big band will play one half hour before each show. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 17 and under. HUMBOLDT — Humboldt Lions Club annual Chili/Soup Supper is 5 to 7 p.m. TODAY at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1212 Sumner Ave. S.W., Humboldt. The supper is dine in or carryout. The menu is chili or chicken noodle soup (while supplies last) with a cinnamon roll and drink (drink with dine in only). Tickets are $10 per person and $5 for children ages 11 and under. Tickets may be purchased from any Humboldt Lions Club member, at V&S Variety or at the door. Proceeds will support the Humota Theater and Humboldt High School Auditorium projects.
TWIN LAKES — TWINterfest Chili and Cinnamon Roll Dinner is 5:30 to 7 p.m. TODAY at Twin Lakes Bible Camp, 7718 Twin Lakes Road. Freewill donations will be accepted.
TWIN LAKES –TWINterfest 2025 is 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. SATURDAY. A pancake breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at Twin Lakes Bible Camp, 7718 Twin Lakes Road, for a freewill donation. DAKOTA CITY — Moffitt Animal Shelter third annual fundraiser is 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. SUNDAY at the VFW, 412 Main St., Dakota City. There will be a silent auction, DJ bingo, 50/50 drawing, raffle drawing, permanent jewelry and a freewill donation lunch until gone.

FORT DODGE — Fort Museum Opera House, 1 Museum Road, presents The Dave Gochee Memorial Poker Tournament SATURDAY. Doors open at 8 a.m., registration at 10 a.m. with play beginning at 11 a.m. Buy in is $60, re-buy first hour only. There will be door prizes, 50/50 and food available. Proceeds go to local youth shelter.
FORT DODGE — Holy Trinity Parish annual Broasted Chicken Dinner is 4 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY at Holy Trinity Parish Center, 403 N. Eighth St. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children ages 4 to 12 and free for children ages 3 and under.
FORT DODGE — The Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., is holding Kids Winter Craft Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the library. There will be winter craft kits, dot painting and Magna Tiles available while supplies last. An adult must accompany all children. There is no registration or fee.
