Single-engine Piper PA-46 had left Fort Dodge Friday morning

A private plane that left Fort Dodge Regional Airport Friday morning has crashed in Anderson, Ind.

The Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed that the single-engine Piper PA-46 crashed short of the runway at Anderson Municipal Airport-Darlington Field around 10 a.m. Eastern time today.

Four people were on board. Law enforcement in Anderson have said there were 'no survivors.'
