Holiday fundraiser to benefit fine arts
Wreath orders due Sept. 27
Area residents can support the fine arts in Fort Dodge while also decorating for the upcoming Christmas holiday.
The Fort Dodge Fine Arts Association has partnered with The Upcycle Market and The Bloom Bar owner Jolene Hays for large personalized Christmas balsam and white pine wreaths.
“We were thrilled to be contacted by Jolene regarding this fundraiser,” said Shelly Bottorff, executive director for the Fort Dodge Fine Arts Association. “The Bloom Bar is all over the area during the spring, summer and fall months and we know that she gets the most wonderful products. We appreciate her thinking of us.”
The winter wreaths are available in 20-inch or 26-inch balsam or 24-inch white pine. The option of a red velvet, buffalo red and black, cream fringe, black and white checked, candy cane, or gold ribbon is also available.
All orders are due by Sept. 27 and will be available for pickup on Dec. 7 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Wreaths for the fundraiser can be purchased by emailing fdfinearts@gmail.com or by going online at The-Upcycle-Market-Iowa.Square.Site.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to the Fort Dodge Fine Arts Association which works to strengthen and foster creativity throughout the community and to celebrate life through the arts.
