A new cardiology practice called Trinity Heart Center will open at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center in October, hospital officials announced Thursday morning.

It will take the place of Iowa Heart Center, which announced in April that it would no longer provide 24 hour, seven day a week services in Fort Dodge.

The new Trinity Heart Center will have four to five cardiology care providers and provide 24 hour, seven day a week coverage.
