CLARION — Clarion Farmer’s Market is 9 to 11 a.m. SATURDAY on the lawn at the Wright County Courthouse, Main Street, Clarion.

FONDA — Fonda Arts Center, Fonda, presents “Cracked Reeds” at 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the center. Admission and refreshments are free.

MOORLAND — Moorland Volunteer Fire Department annual Pancake Breakfast is 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SUNDAY in the Moorland Community Center. Tickets are $5 per person for all you can eat with children ages 5 and under free. Take-outs will be available. Door prizes will be awarded, need not be present to win.

BARNUM — Barnum Sesquicentennial Celebration is 5 to 10 p.m. TODAY and noon to 11 p.m. SATURDAY in Barnum. Today’s events include cruise the park, bouncy houses, food and beverages and live music by Jared Benson and Claudia Coltrain. Saturday’s events are food and beverages, bags tournament, carnival, DJ bingo and live music by Cory Waller and The Wicked Things.

BOXHOLM — Trinity Lutheran Church, Boxholm, is holding an Ice Cream Social from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. Beef burgers, chips, beverages, coleslaw, desserts and homemade ice cream will be served for a freewill donation.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — Almost Home Animal Shelter is holding Pups in the Park fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY in the park next to the shelter at 725 S. 32nd St. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash. There will be bouncy houses, kid’s train ride, face painting, photos, foam party, water activities, food trucks and local vendors.

FORT DODGE — Hawkeye Community Theatre presents “Cahoots” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 p.m. SATURDAY at 521 N. 12th St. Tickets are $10 per person.
