Downtown Country Jam tickets on sale
Joe Nichols to headline annual concert
It’s a “Good Day For Living” for Joe Nichols fans as tickets to Downtown Country Jam 2024 go on sale today.
Nichols, along with Morgan Myles, who placed third on “The Voice” in 2022, will perform at the annual fall concert alongside opening band Tyler Richton & The High Bank Boys.
“It’s going to be a great event,” said Craig Schlienz, a member of the Shellabration Inc. Board of Directors that organizes the concert.
Tickets are available online at Ticketweb.com and locally at HyVee for $40 until Sept. 14 when prices will increase to $45. Children 12 years old and under are admitted for free. Tickets purchased at the gate will be $50.
Schlienz said the board signed Nichols to headline the Sept. 28 show believing that “this would be another home run for a Downtown Country Jam headliner.”
Nichols has 18 Top 40 hits and received the Top New Male Vocalist Award from the Academy of Country Music. His run of hits includes “Brokenheartsville,” “The Impossible,” “She Only Smokes When She Drinks,” “Cool to be a Fool,” “If Nobody Believed In You,” “What’s a Guy Gotta Do,” “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,” and more.
Last year, the annual Downtown Country Jam headlined by Josh Turner drew a record crowd of 4,553 people.
