HUMBOLDT — Humboldt County Fair open class Horticulture Show is 1 p.m. SATURDAY through 5 p.m. SUNDAY in the Polka Building at the Humboldt County Fair. Entries are accepted from 5 to 6 p.m. TODAY and 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY. Judging begins at 1 p.m. Saturday and is open to the public.

FONDA — Fonda Arts Center presents Don Schossow, aka, “Donnie from the Senders,” at 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the center in Fonda. Admission and refreshments are free.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be holding an ice cream social at 6:30 p.m. People attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.

FORT DODGE — Shellabration is 5 p.m. TODAY in historic downtown Fort Dodge. Rick Springfield will perform with special guests Tank Anthony Band and The Babys. Tickets are $50 per person, children ages 12 and under are free.
