HUMBOLDT — Humboldt Farmer’s Market is 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY in downtown Humboldt.
LEHIGH — The Lehigh Methodist Church will be serving Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY for a freewill offering. The menu is pulled pork sandwich, cheesy potatoes, salad, dessert and a drink.
LIVERMORE — Livermore American Legion Otto Field Post 415 is holding a Breakfast Fundraiser from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. SUNDAY in the Livermore Legion basement. The menu is pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and homemade cinnamon rolls. Tickets are $10 per person.
EMMETSBURG — Palo Alto Arts Council presents Classics at the Riviera Theatre at 4:30 p.m. SUNDAY. “The Music Man” will be shown. Admission is free.
CLARION — Clarion Farmers Market is 9 to 11 a.m. SATURDAY on the lawn at the Wright County Courthouse, Main Street, Clarion.
POMEROY — Pomeroy Homecoming 2024 is 5 to 10 p.m. TODAY, 8 a.m. to midnight SATURDAY and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. SUNDAY in Pomeroy. Today’s events include kiddie parade, foam party, softball tournament, live music, karaoke and fireworks at 10 p.m. Saturday’s events include farmer’s market, parade, vintage sock hop and prom dance from 2 to 4 p.m., lawn mower poker run and street dance from 7 p.m. to midnight. Sunday’s events include 5K run/walk, concession stand and church league softball games.
DUNCOMBE — Duncombe Days will be held this weekend in Duncombe. Parents vs kids baseball game is at 6 p.m. TODAY. Registration at 5 p.m. The Duncombe Public Library will hold a movie indoors at 6 p.m. and an outdoor movie at 8 p.m. Bingo will be held at the community center at 7 p.m. Breakfast at the fire station is at 7 a.m. SATURDAY. Parade registration begins at 9 a.m. Saturday and the parade starts at 10 a.m. Activities will be held at the community center beginning at 11 a.m. Ice cream social begins at 11 a.m. at the tornado shelter. Water fights will be held at noon at the tornado shelter, with registration at 11 a.m. Bags tournament will be held at 1 p.m. at the city park, with registration at noon. Magic show will be held at the community center at 4 p.m. A street dance featuring Salty View will be held at the city park at 7 p.m. On SUNDAY, the classic car show begins at 9 a.m. with registration/line up at 8 a.m. Little Miss and Mister Duncombe Pageant starts at 11 a.m. Sunday with registration at 10 a.m. Pedal pull registration is at 11 a.m. and the competition begins at noon.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.
FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be holding an ice cream social at 6:30 p.m. Persons attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.
FORT DODGE — Angel Ride to Save the Tatas 16th annual Fun Run is SATURDAY beginning at Amigos, 280 N. First St. Sign-up begins at 9 a.m. with the ride starting by 11 a.m. Cost is $20 per person. A party bus will be available for $20 per person. Stops include Lynch’s in Rockwell City, Ernie’s in Sac City, Cobblestone Ballroom in Storm Lake, Tavern 119 in Fonda, Creekside Bar and Grill in Fort Dodge and ends by 5 p.m. at Amigos. There will be silent and live auctions and entertainment by Jeremy Ober.
FORT DODGE — River’s Edge Discovery Center, 20 N. First St., is holding an Open House from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY. Visitors can check out the water-themed learning center offering hands-on, interactive exhibits. There will be children’s activities, food trucks and more.
FORT DODGE — Hawkeye Community Theatre, 521 N. 12th St., presents “Unnecessary Farce: A Comedy” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 p.m. SATURDAY at the theatre. Tickets are $10 per person.
