Farmer’s Market Report

As many of you know, the opening day of the 40th annual Fort Dodge Farmer’s Market was this past Saturday. It was a great day filled with so much activity. There was a live radio broadcast, a ribbon cutting ceremony, live entertainment, and a lot of fun. It was a pleasure to see our return customers and welcome new ones as well.

We, as a market, would like to thank all of you who joined us. We can’t have the market without you. We would also like to thank Kemna for hosting us again this year.

This weekend is Father’s Day. The Fort Dodge Farmer’s Market would be a great place to shop for dad. There is so much there that he would like. Whether it’s a Custom Red Cedar bird house, his favorite pound cake from Buns on the Run, or some decor for his man cave from Coalville Riverside Creations , you are sure to find something he will love at the market.

This year, the farmer’s market will be featuring various civic groups. This weekend the Iowa Pork Producers will be there grilling up burgers that will be available for purchase. You could wash it down with some ice cold honey lemonade from Spring Creek Honey or other flavors of lemonade from The Little Lemon Company. It’s going to be an enjoyable day and we can’t wait to see you there. Don’t forget to bring dad!

The market will be on Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 11 N. 25th St. in the Graham Collision parking lot. Be sure to check out the Fort Dodge Farmer’s Market on Facebook for information on upcoming events.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor, you can fill out an application on Facebook. You can also contact us through Facebook if you would like to present your civic group at the market. If you don’t have Facebook, contact Kendal Pliner at 515-570-0058 or David Ash at 520-400-1900.

Starting at $2.99/week.
