A man suffering from a gunshot wound was taken to UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center Wednesday afternoon and Fort Dodge police are investigating the incident.

Police and Fire Department personnel were dispatched to 106 N. 10th St. just before 4 p.m..

Police Capt. Steve Hanson said a man with a gunshot wound in the chest was taken to the hospital.
