Figure 8 Races are 6 p.m. SATURDAY at the Webster County Speedway, 22770 Old Highway 169. The speedway has partnered with Community Health Center this month to promote mental health awareness. Grandstand admission is cash only. Grandstand admission is $10 for ages 13 and up and $5 for children ages 3-12. No food or drink is allowed in the grandstand gate. Food vendors will be available. Driver fees are $35, pit pass is $25. Pits open at 3 p.m.

Webster County Conservation and Fort Dodge Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department are holding National Kids to Parks Day SATURDAY. Find word clues at three county parks — Holiday Creek, Henderson Landing and Gypsum City OHV Park and three city parks — Hawley Lions Park, Oleson Park and Loomis Park Trail to win prizes. Scorecards are available at www.fortdodgeiowa.org and a scan or photo of the scorecard must be received by email at earndt@fortdodgeiowa.org before 11 a.m. Monday to be eligible for prizes.
