ALGONA — Algona YMCA is holding a Father Daughter Dance from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the YMCA, 2101 E. McGregor St., Algona. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. There will be glow sticks, snacks and photo booth. Tickets are $35 per couple with each additional daughter $10.

EMMETSBURG — Legislative Town Hall meeting with Sen. Dave Rowley and Rep. John Wills is 8:30 to 10 a.m. SATURDAY at the Emmetsburg Welcome Center, 1121 Broadway. The community is welcome.

EMMETSBURG — Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast to benefit Horizons Unlimited is 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the VFW, Emmetsburg. The menu is pancakes, omelets, sausage and beverage. Advance tickets are $9 and are available at Horizons office, 2107 Main. Tickets at the door are $10.

EMMETSBURG — Palo Alto Arts Council presents Classics at the Riviera Theatre at 4:30 p.m. SUNDAY. “The Strawberry Blonde” will be shown. Admission is free.

LEHIGH — The Lehigh United Methodist Church will be serving Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY. Pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage links will be served for a freewill offering.

EMMETSBURG — VFW Lenten Fish Fry is 5 to 7 p.m. TODAY at the VFW, Emmetsburg. Orders to go may be called in at 712-298-0883. Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children ages 4 and under.

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library, Webster City, is holding Mommy and Me Support and Connect group from 10 to 11:30 a.m. SATURDAY in the library’s children’s department. All expecting or new moms are welcome, ages 19 and up. There will be feeding tips, infant development and postpartum healing.

EMMETSBURG — Palo Alto County Law Enforcement Center is holding an Open House from 1 to 4 p.m. SATURDAY. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s office and county supervisors invite the public to tour the facility before officially opening. Signs will mark the entrance to the facility which will be located on the southeast side of the building.
