Conrad reappointed chairwoman of Board of Supervisors
Webster County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Niki Conrad was reappointed to chair the board for 2024 during its first meeting of the year on Tuesday.
Conrad, a Democrat who serves District 4, was first appointed chairwoman in January 2023. She has served District 4 since 2018 and was most recently reelected in 2022.
Nick Carlson, a Democrat who serves District 5, was also reappointed to his position as vice chair for the board.

Andy Stanberg was reappointed weed commissioner for 2024.
Jeff Johnson was reappointed planning and zoning administrator for 2024.
Jerry Beck was reappointed to the Conservation Board.
Gary Nelson, Laura Roach and Arlyn Gorczkowski were reappointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Tom Dorsey was reappointed to the Veterans Affairs Commission.
Austin Hayek, Vickie Reeck and Sharon Stroh were reappointed to the MIDAS Council of Governments Board.
Dylan Hagen was reappointed as the disaster services coordinator for 2024.
Dr. Dan Cole was reappointed Webster County medical examiner.
Dr. Christopher Carzoli was appointed deputy medical examiner.
The Messenger, the Gowrie News and the Dayton Leader were named official county newspapers for 2024.
