VFW Post 1856 hosted a heroes appreciation dinner Tuesday night for members of the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Dodge Police, and Iowa State Patrol District 7. The dinner was served on behalf of the VFW in recognition of the officers courage, sacrifice, bravery, and commitment they pursue in the line of duty, while serving to keep our communities safe. Officers from the three entities, along with their team members, LEC staff, clerks, dispatchers, and families were served a smoked pork loin dinner.
