Representatives of Kosovo met recently with officials from Fort Dodge and Clarion, two area towns that have Sister City relationships with communities in that Balkan nation. From left are Fatmir Rrahmanaj, first secretary in Kosovo’s consulate; Artan Duraku, chief of missions at the consulate; Dawn Larson, economic development specialist for the city of Fort Dodge; and Joe Nelson, superintendent of the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Community School District. Fort Dodge has a Sister City connection with Gjakova; while Clarion has one with Junik. The representatives of Kosovo came to Fort Dodge to thank the local communities for actively nurturing partnerships with their Sister Cities in Kosovo.
