Webster County sheriff’s deputies and other emergency responders work at the scene of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of U.S. Highway 20 and Johnson Avenue late Tuesday afternoon. Iowa State Patrol Sgt. Neil Morenz said the driver of the motorcycle, Daniel Brown, of Webster City, died at the scene. The crash was reported at 4:37 p.m. Morenz said Daniel Lundberg, of Lehigh, was driving a 2010 International truck south on Johnson Avenue. He said Lundberg crossed the westbound lanes of the highway, but failed to yield in the median to eastbound traffic. Brown was heading east on a 2018 Indian Chieftain Elite motorcycle, which struck the side of the truck. Lundberg was uninjured. Moorland firefighters and an ambulance from the Fort Dodge Fire Department also responded.
