An arrest warrant for an 18-year-old Ankeny resident has been issued for a deadly shooting in Fort Dodge on Tuesday evening.
According to a release from the Fort Dodge Police Department, Jamarrion James “J.J.” Davis is wanted for one count of first-degree murder, a Class A felony.
Davis is an 18-year-old Black male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. According to the FDPD, he should be considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information about him should contact law enforcement immediately.
Webster County Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for anyone with information that leads to Davis’ arrest.

The FDPD previously reported that Tuesday at approximately 9:44 p.m., a shooting was reported in the area of South 15th Street and Fourth Avenue South. When officers arrived, a juvenile male with multiple gunshot wounds was found unresponsive in the road at the southwest side of the intersection. The victim, a 15-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene. As of press time on Wednesday, the victim’s name has not yet been released by police.
The shooting remains under investigation.
