St. Edmond Catholic School continues its search for the right candidate for the St. Edmond Catholic High School and Middle School principal position. The St. Edmond Catholic School board is continuing their search using Teach Iowa as the main resource.

Mark Johnson began his interim position with St. Edmond Catholic School this year in March. He has committed to being in the interim position through the 2023-2024 school year until the position is filled.

Johnson is a long-time Fort Dodge resident. He has over 40 years of experience in education and is a great resource and complement to the education team at St. Edmond Catholic School.

He is a graduate of Storm Lake High School, Buena Vista University and Iowa State University.

He also spent more than 25 years as an NCAA Division I football official.
