BADGER — Badger Lions Club Pancake Breakfast is 8 a.m. to noon SUNDAY at the Badger Fire Station. All the pancakes you can eat plus sausage, eggs, orange juice, milk or coffee will be served. Advance tickets are $6 per person. Tickets at the door are $7 per person, $3 for children ages 5 to 10 and free for children ages 4 and under. Net profit will support community and Lions projects. Those attending are encouraged to bring use eyeglasses and hearing aids for the Lions to recycle.

EAGLE GROVE — Eagle Grove Ladies’ Day Out Downtown Craft and Vendor Fair is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. SATURDAY in downtown Eagle Grove. There will be raffle baskets and $20 goodie bags.

GOWRIE – Gowrie United Methodist Church, Gowrie, is holding a May Basket Sale at 8 a.m. until sold out SATURDAY. Baskets are $3 each. To reserve baskets, call Rita Kail at 515-351-9854 or Judi Tjepkes at 515-351-7191.

BADGER — Badger Lutheran Church is holding a freewill donation Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in Badger.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Choral Society presents “Requiem for the Living” by Dan Forrest at 4 p.m. SUNDAY at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, 239 N. 11th St. Admission is by season membership or $12 for adults at the door, student admission is free.

FORT DODGE — The fifth annual Autism Awareness Walk and Family Fair is 2 p.m. SATURDAY at Dodger Stadium. There will be goodie bags at check in along with resources and activities for the whole family and a walk around the track. Special guests include your friendly Iowa Spiderman. Music will be provided by Mercury Music.

FORT DODGE — Gillette and Chen Music Academy is hosting a fundraising recital to benefit Mary’s Meals at 10:30 a.m. SATURDAY at Crossway Church, 3058 10th Ave. N. Mary’s Meals provides school lunches for children in impoverished countries. The recital is open to the public and freewill donations will be accepted.

FORT DODGE — The 20th annual Otho Fireman’s Ball is 5 p.m. to midnight SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. with an auction at 6 p.m. There will be door prizes, raffle, and music and a dance until midnight. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children.
