CLARION — Mom Prom 2023 is 7 to 11 p.m. SATURDAY at The Red Shed Event Center, Clarion. Tickets at the door are $50 per person and include one raffle ticket, one complimentary drink and hor d’oeuvres.

EMMETSBURG — VFW Fish Fry is 5 to 7 p.m. TODAY at the VFW, Emmetsburg. To place a pick up order, call 712-298-0883. Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children ages 4 and under.

EMMETSBURG — The Looney Lutherans and Emmetsburg Band Boosters present “The Looney Lutherans in Hotdish on the Range…All hat, not cattle” at 7 p.m. TODAY in the Emmetsburg High School auditorium, Emmetsburg. Tickets are limited and are $15 per person. Proceeds will support the Emmetsburg Community School Band program with new band uniforms.

EMMETSBURG — Emmetsburg Public Library, Emmetsburg, is holding Gaming After Hours from 2:30 to 5 p.m. SATURDAY. Refreshments are provided.

GOLDFIELD — Goldfield Fire Department Omelet Brunch is 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at the Goldfield Fire Department. The brunch will be served dine-in or carryout. Tickets are $8 per person. Proceeds go toward a new air compressor to fill air packs.

DUNCOMBE — Duncombe Firemens Ball and Auction is SATURDAY at the Duncombe Rec Center. A smoked pork loin dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Live auction begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by music and raffles. All proceeds will be used to purchase new equipment for the fire department.

CLARION — St. John Catholic Church, Clarion, is holding a Swiss Steak Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, corn, assorted salads, rolls, homemade pies and beverages will be served. Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children ages 5 and under. Carry-outs will be available from the Education Center. For home deliveries, call 515-293-1870.

BOXHOLM — Boxholm Community Club Pancake Breakfast is 7 to 10 a.m. SATURDAY at the Boxholm Community Building, Boxholm. A freewill donation will be accepted.

FORT DODGE — Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry is 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. TODAY at Corpus Christi Center, 405 N. Eighth St. Dinners include fried fish, baked fish, shrimp or grilled cheese served with baked potato or French fries, homemade coleslaw, roll, ice cream and beverages. The meal will be served dine in or carryout. Tickets for fried fish, baked fish or shrimp are $12, combo meal of all three is $14, grilled cheese is $6 and children age 5 and under are free.

FORT DODGE — Kiwanis Pancake Day is 7 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at Community Christian School gym, 2406 9 1/2 Ave. S. Beverage, sausage and all the pancakes you can eat will be served. A drive thru option will be available. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 12 and under. Tickets will be available at the door.

FORT DODGE — Duncombe Elementary Fun Night is 3 to 6 p.m. SATURDAY at Duncombe Elementary School, 615 N. 16th St. There will be games, food, cake walk, raffles, prizes and silent auction. Make up date is April 2.

FORT DODGE — Community Christian School, 2406 9 1/2 Ave. S., is holding Beach Fun Night from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the school. There will be games and prizes for toddlers through eighth grade. The fun night is open to the public. There will be food, silent auction, popcorn and cotton candy available in the gymnasium. Food and game tickets may be purchased at the door.

FORT DODGE — Eggs & Issues Legislative Forum is 8:30 to 10 a.m. SATURDAY in the Triton Cafe Boardroom on the Iowa Central Community College campus. The forum is free.

FORT DODGE — Friends of Webster County Conservation are holding “Spring into Spring” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. SATURDAY at Camp WaNoKi, 2400 WaNoKi Camp Road. Activities include build your own omelets, learn to make maple syrup and sample some, golden antler hunt, eagle watch, nature photography, bluebird house giveaways, nature crafts for kids, Prairie Top disc golf, archery and tomahawks, challenge course and scavenger hunt. FORT DODGE — St. Paul Lutheran School 16th annual Growing Saints for Christ Dinner and Auction is 4 p.m. SATURDAY at the Best Western Starlite Village, 1518 Third Ave. NW. Individual tickets are $35, a table of eight is $280 and sponsor tables are $500. Tickets may be purchased at the church or school offices.

FORT DODGE — Saint Edmond Catholic High School presents “Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 3 p.m. SATURDAY at the school, 501 N. 22nd St. All tickets are $10 and are available at the Saint Edmond activities office.
